Xiaomi Global's Director of Product Management, Donovan Sung, underlines three things from the Xiaomi Mi A1, the big display, dual camera, and metal body (full metal body).
All three criteria that make Xiaomi ventured call Mi A1 as a "flagship" device. In fact, when viewed from the specification of the processor and price range, the smartphone is more targeting the middle-class phone users down.
Moreover, the Xiaomi Mi A1 runs with Android One, the Google-made interface software projected for mid-to-low smartphones. In response to this, Donovan indicated the definition of "flagship" should not necessarily refer to the price of expensive devices.

Furthermore, Donovan Sung, said the modern society tends to rely on smartphones for two things, namely taking the camera and sharing it to social media.
